Kids Cookie Decorating Class - Ages 6 to 12

Join the fun at Sugar Rush Kales where we teach children the art of cookie decoration to dazzle family and friends. Our classes welcome participants aged 6 to 12.  The class includes all supplies, 6 sugar cookies, and royal icing. We'll explore various cookie facts and decorating techniques, and you'll have the opportunity to decorate your own set of cookies to take home with you on the same day.

Whether you have little experience with sugar cookies, have struggled with royal icing, or simply want to have fun with friends and family, this class is perfect for you! "We provide everything you will need for the class, including cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your creations home in. All you need to bring is yourself! Each participant will receive 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the necessary tools for the class. Everything is prepared just before the class, so there's no need for baking or mixing icing. You can just focus on decorating!"

In this class, you will learn how to prepare royal icing, understand different icing consistencies, and pick up tips and tricks to make your cookies look as good as they taste. You will also learn various decorating techniques such as marbling, outlining, wet-on-wet, brush embroidery, and painting based on the class theme. Feel free to get creative and come up with your own designs.  Be the creative person that you are!

Registration is open for individuals, pairs, or groups. Remember, the more, the merrier! However, each class is capped at 6 participants, so make sure to sign up as soon as possible!

If you would like to purchase additional kits to practice and redo what you have learned in class at home, you certainly can.  Please send us a picture of what you create so that we can see how you are doing! You can purchase an add-on kit during checkout. Your kit will be available at the end of your class, so don't forget to pick it up! If you're skipping class and just ordering the kit, you can also do that. Take-home kits are available for $25.
